 Mr. Achintya Karati has about 36 years of vast experience in the Banking, Financial, Legal & Secretarial fields. He looked after Corporate Banking Group, Government ... Banking Group, Rural Micro-Credit & Agri-business Group and Country Head of Government & Institutional Solutions Group at ICICI Bank Ltd. He was solely responsible not only for creation of good assets but also for raising resources from PSU’s to the extent of upto 50,000 cr and was dedicated to the large private & public sector companies for their all needs.
He served at various prominent positions at ICICI Bank Limited, retired from ICICI Bank in March 2004 as Senior General Manager. After retirement from ICICI Bank in April 2004, Mr. Karati served as Senior Advisor to ICICI Securities Limited, ICICI Bank Ltd., ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited, NABARD, CRISIL & IFFCO as Head Govt. & Institutional.
Before ICICI, Mr. Karati was Company Secretary in a Private Sector group of Companies at Kolkata looking after their Secretarial, legal, commercial & Corporate.
Currently, Mr. Karati is Senior Country Advisor of Yes Bank Ltd, since June 2010 in its Government Relationship Management Team. As an Director, he is also on the Board of Directors of the Indian Companies like J.K. Cement Ltd, Delton Cables Ltd, Jay Bharat Maruti Ltd, Tech Process Solutions Ltd, etc.
Mr. Karati holds a degree in B.Com and L.L.B. from Calcutta University. He enrolled himself as Advocate of Kolkata High Court. |
